i am a sophomore and i will probably be playing varsity. i am 6 foot 1 and still growing. i am willing to work hard on my jumping but i need a good program. thanks for your help!

im 5’10, in 8th grade, and one of the better players in my grade. I shoot lights out from behind the arc (95%).im starting high school next year and want to start on varsity next year and i need another deminsion to my game. Unfortunetly i am white. Whenever i try to dunk, my hand only goes to the bottom of the net. Anybody know any drills to increase vertical jump?

i play basketball and i want to increase my vertical jump. i already have all my routine organised and now i only need to know how many times a week i should do it. i was personally thinking of doing it twice a day but when i think about it, it could be too much for a begginner like me.

there is also a part 2 but that one is for people who can already dunk and want to increase vertical even further. Just do what the video tells u to do, i already tried the whole exercise and it was very effective and tiring.

I’m a basketball player and crazy fan too, played for about 3 years now. I think you should start off slowly, 1-2 times a week, then add more for each day, like doing more reps for each exercise. But remember to leave some time for essentials like ball handling, shooting and playing your position.
Can i ask you what your program is, I wanted to improve my jumping too, im a little guy who plays the point guard.

Do whatever work you can on your hips and lower abs. Be sure that you warm up before beginning your pre-workout stretch. You should always stretch before beginning any workout routine, but not warming up properly before stretching can cause damage to your muscles. Also, give yourself plenty of time to recover after a workout. I know that you wrote about needing to see results in a short period of time but working too hard and not giving yourself enought time to recover will only hurt you in the long-run. Good luck!
